Going through life we are going to go through the fire.  I do not doubt that however I do believe and know that He is right there with us.  We will not fight one battle without Him by our side…

I was listening to some music today and a song by The Crabb Family named Through the Fire and there is a line that hit me hard… “He never promised that the cross would not get heavy”. Wow, what a line and it is the truth we find it easy to be a Christian when things are going good, however, if something comes up we start wondering where is God, where is or Father, where is Jesus. Well let us listen a little more:
He never offered our victories without fighting
But he said help would always come in time

Oh my! Such truth we are never alone, we are never more than a prayer away unless we walked away. Then comes the words from another song Jason sings “When He was on that cross I was on His mind” so the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. When we start to doubt or wonder I hope we can remember these words.

I pray that we all can get a little stronger with these words. There is no promise that the Christian walk would be easy only when it is over the reward is GREAT… If you have never heard it please listen to it and if you have remember those words when the going gets rough…
