Grow In Grace And Knowledge And Be On Guard
Grow in Grace and Knowledge how do we do that some may ask? A good place to start is reading the Bible get in a good Bible teaching church that does not distort the word. That is getting harder every day so we need to pray a lot and ask the Holy Spirit to show us the hows, whats and wheres in life.

2 Peter 3:16-18 (NIV) 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
I think that this says it better than I ever could say it. The reason God gave me Abounding Love Ministries Worldwide. It is to share and teach Gods word. To help others to Grow is grace and knowledge. I love what I do here and I love to see and hear those here grow in the Lord. I pray that this helps you all as much as it has me.
Peter is talking about Paul here when he says “He writes” some of Paul’s writings are truly hard to understand and for sure if one is not saved. If one is not a follower of Christ and just reading the Bible it is not because they have nothing else to do. The truth is they are looking for the TRUTH and what they will find and all they will understand is they need to be SAVED and how to do it. So if they do not they will distort what they have read because our ENEMY is interpreting it for them and we all know what he is good at… LYING! As Peter says it they will distort the scriptures to their own destruction.
Peter has warned us and told us we need to BE ON GUARD, now what does that mean? We need to know and understand the scripture and how do we do that. I am not sure if it has always been the way it is now. However, in today’s world we have some business’, and yes I said business’ that are called churches. I say that because they do not teach the WHOLE TRUTH. They are afraid if they do their members will stop coming and they will lose the tithes and offerings and they can not keep the Big buildings and homes and cars and expensive watches and suits. So a lot of people today are getting the distorted truth, ½ truths. So we all need to pray and then listen for the Holy Spirit to tell you and/or give you advise on where to go. I honestly believe that there is a lot of good churches. I feel that I was blessed with one and I pray that those who are not will be. Yes I have grown in grace and knowledge from the few churches that I have gone to.
So moving on here Peter now says this so that we will not be fooled and remove you from doing what God has called you to do. I do not believe anyone is here by accident, even some that have asked to join just because God has sent us all here for a reason and that is to for us to grow secure in our position. Who we are in Jesus Christ. Doing what we have been called to do. So we are here to grow in GRACE and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior.
Something I have been praying for every day since these groups started. I pray basically this every morning for us. My desire is that WE ALL become ALL that God DESIRES and Jesus DIED for us TO BE, that is all I am here for. I promise you if anyone asks a question I will answer it if I do not know the answer I will tell you and I will try to find it. I am totally dedicated to serving our Lord and meeting the need here in these groups. I will end this now as Peter did, “to him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
