Growing Through Trials

James 1:2-8 (NKJV) 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patients have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
The devotional scripture is long today however it is needed to get the point across. We need to BELIEVE not HOPE or WONDER we need to BELIEVE for James says in verse 5 if you lack wisdom just ask for it. It is not like God picks and chooses who he is going to make smart. It is to who ASKS no other requirements JUST ASK. However in verse 6 James says we have to ask in FAITH ask BELIEVING. with NO DOUBTING. We can not DOUBT God We have been saved by GRACE through FAITH. So we can not DOUBT that God will do what he says He will do. Because if we doubt we are like a wave or the wind. We are thrown or tossed here and there.
We need to start standing totally on our FAITH and BELIEVING in our Lord. Do we doubt our salvation. by doubting that he will give us wisdom or healing or needs then we are really doubting our salvation. All I am saying is we all believe through FAITH we are saved so let us believe by the same FAITH for all the other gifts.
If we do not see what we prayed for why is that. Do we see our SALVATION? What others see is the changes in us the way we talk the way we walk what we say and do… The fruit we bare. We BELIEVE by FAITH that we are saved so why not the same FAITH for healing or wisdom or anything else, we are believing God for the same FAITH is there for us and thus we are growing through trials
