What is a disciple? A person who believes in the teaching of another, especially one of the original followers of Christ. If you are a Born Again Christian then you are a disciple. We have accepted Jesus as our Savior.

I was reading and asking myself what is a Christian? I read Colossians 1:9-14 and I got this out of it… One that walks worthy of our Lord. Being fruitful in EVERY good works. Wow! Are we really. I feel sometimes like no one listens or has read or reads the Bible. The biggest remark I get is I was not called to be a witness or soul winner.

Well if we walk our talk we will be soul winners for if we are showing Jesus for who He is then others will desire Him. If someone walked up to you right now and asked how can I get that Jesus that you serve? What would you say to them, what scriptures would you give them? We need to be ready according to 2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV) Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Then I remembered Matthew 12:33-37 but verse 37 says it all “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” So here we are—are we being and doing what we should for in verse 34 we do read “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”.

We are a witness for our Lord or for our enemy 24/7 everything we say, everything we do. And yes I am saying we I am not pointing fingers at no one. It is a dying and lost world we live in and people are constantly dying and going to hell. This takes me back to the scripture I seem to be hung up on. Matthew 9:36-37 (NKJV) 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were [harassed]weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Lord I pray that we are shown how to be good servants and do as we should being all that we can be and seeing the Church grow. Give those who ask wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding. Let us be what You desire us to be for You. In the mighty name of Jesus I do pray this all—Amen!
