If Only We Believe

1 Corinthians 10: 23-24 (NIV) 23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. 24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

There are boundaries for us and as believers we should follow them. However sometimes we as believers are taught or lead to the extreme. Example 1 Corinthians 10: 32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God. I have heard over and over I do not drink coffee for it offends my neighbor, they believe that it is bad for you. On and on I do not because that offends. So before long you are doing absolutely nothing and guess what that too will offend someone. What I say is if your neighbor does not drink coffee than do not offer him coffee and do not walk out to the fence with a cup in hand. Respect him by not doing it is front of him. Be a light in a dark place. How do we do that one might say it really is simple If Only We Believe.
