Jesus Said To Us All, Bear Much Fruit To Be My Disciples

Jesus is talking to us all in this statement in the book of John. He ended the book of Matthew 28:16-20 with the same statement. We are to bear fruit I am not talking about knocking on doors and I am not putting that down. Bearing fruit is possible by our actions for the steps come—Planting a seed, Watering said seed, the Harvesting planted seed.

John 15:8 (MEV) My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Jesus is telling us what we must do. I do not feel that everyone is out standing on the corner talking to people. I do believe our walk with the Lord is a testimony of who we serve and that alone can plant a seed. I believe we are a light to the world as Jesus said in Matthew 5:14.

We will never know, here on this earth, who or how many we have touched or led to the Lord just by a word. A kind word in a troubled time. A simple hug in a time of need. A smile to someone hurting. The list can go on and on. What we are to do is be that light and remain His disciples…

John 8:12 (MEV) 12 Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
