Luke 3:3-6 (NKJV) 3 And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, 4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight. 5 Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”

When I was given this ministry,I adapted Psalm 5:8 (NKJV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face. As my scripture to keep me on the right path. Then as I was reading this scripture in Luck I see it is repeating was was said by Isaiah in Isaiah 40:3-5 (NKJV) 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; 5 The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

John is preparing the way for Jesus and He will make the way straight and easy for all that wish to follow Him and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. He is our only hope to Heaven there is no other way. However it is our decision to accept or deny and we need to understand that God does not send anyone to hell they choose to go…

We as Christians need to know and understand the scriptures so that we can explain the road to salvation and Heaven. God wishes no one into hell He loves us all and wishes we would accept his free gift. Our Father wishes for all to love him however He is not going to force us he gives us a free will to accept or deny Him.
