The Kingdom Of God Is At Hand Repent And Be Saved

The Kingdom of God is at hand. John the Baptist was referring to Jesus. Jesus WAS the Kingdom of Heaven that was near. Jesus was GOD IN THE FLESH! So the kingdom of God was among them.

In the last (the here and now, in my opinion) people will be going about their days and lives, not giving a second thought about God. Most of us don’t call on God until a tragedy happens or we need something. Matthew 24 37-39 but as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be. (38) for as the end of days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, (39) and knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.

REPENTANCE = the action of repenting, sincere regret or remorse.

One must call upon the name of the Lord to repent. Through the authority of Jesus Christ, there is no other way to heaven but through Him. It says in Acts 5:31 Him, (Jesus) hath God exalted with His right hand to be a prince and a Saviour.
Repentance means to stop doing the same sin that you have been doing, or any sin. Once you realize that you have committed sin you need to repent instantly and try not to repeat it again. That is what God wants from us.

We read in 2 Timothy 2:19-26 (19) nevertheless the foundation of God stand sure, having this seal, the Lord knows them that are His. And let everyone, that calls on the name of Jesus Christ depart from iniquity. (20) but in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of Earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor. (21) if a man, therefore, cleanses himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, Sanctified and fit for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. (22) flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, Faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (23) but foolish and ignorant questions avoid, knowing that they do produce strife. (24) and the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, (25) in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves, if God perhaps will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; (26) and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil who is taken captive by him at his will.”
