We Live By Faith

I am going to ask you to actually read what I am saying totally before passing judgment. What I am saying is I am asking you to hear me out on this simple and mighty statement and how the Holy Spirit touched me with it.

We read in John 11: 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. What do we think of, or at least I did He, Jesus, is talking about what is going to happen to him. Sort of actually not even really reading or thinking about the last part of this verse. Though he may die, he shall live. There is that word again SHALL! So let us move on to John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Yes we all agree that Jesus died on the cross and took everything with him and died so that we might live as we read in 1 John 4: 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Then he was resurrected.

To die most do not wish to talk about that, even though it is something we all will do. You want to shut up a crowd of people start talking about dying, that is a subject that is not a popular subject. What happens when we die, everything is gone nothing to worry about nothing to think about, it is ALL gone correct? So if we die to the flesh then we MUST give all that worldly stuff up the worry, the anger, the hurt, the misfortunes. Everything we need to give up everything completely. We must be BORN AGAIN.

Then if we are born again we become a baby again and we have to learn again Gods way. We can’t forget the old stuff because we are BORN AGAIN we have nothing to remember. Thus 1 Corinthians 13:11 [first part] When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. Let us stop here for a moment there are a lot of quote unquote Christians that have been in Church all their lives and are still HERE. Why are they because they did not go to school and learn? Or maybe they did not study? How about this they went to Church and was not taught and did not grow up. We need to get rid of the bottle or the baby food and the sippy cup grow up and accept the rest of the Christian life. Continuing on with 1 Corinthians 13:11 [last part] but when I became a man, I put away childish things. There is a time when one grows up and start to think and act like a grown up. That too is a part of being BORN AGAIN. I have been saved for 32 years and for at least 29 of those year I felt I was missing something I wanted to grow up however I was treated like a child in Church. Now not literally, I mean I have felt for years that I was missing something, that I was not getting the whole story. We Must be born again, and I will add we must grow up.

So if we die of this sinful life, we were born in to then we must be RESURRECTED to be BORN AGAIN, correct? We must die to that old spirit of the world and become a new spirit in Christ and learn and believe in his ways. We need to learn and remember we are not under the law we live by faith. Galatians 3:11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”

I pray that what was said here will help us all grow in the fact of who we are what we believe and how we live as BORN AGAIN and yes FILLED with the SPIRIT Christians.
