The Love Of God Is The Greatest Gift Known to Man

Love, Gods love, there is nothing that can top that.  God loved us before we were ever born or even thought of.  He gave us Jesus, one who was born and lived here, on earth, and knew no sin.  Then went through the pain and torture and hung on a cross for us.  So that we could live…

The Love Of God Is The Greatest Gift Known to Man

1 Corinthians 13 (NKJV) 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[I may boast] but have not love, it profits me nothing.

As I read this I was convicted big time about saying things and doing things that did not demonstrate God Love. It is so easy to fall into that trap. Anger, violence, fits of anger are not of God. I think it is time Christians today become what God has ordained us to be. To become what Jesus suffered and died for us to be. We are the children of the most high King and it is about time we start acting like it. I am not saying we are to become 100% sin free walking around in White and a Halo around our head. What I am saying, it is time to show the world our Real God. Let us show the world the greatest gift known to man today.

How can we do that one might say well we are in the chapter that tells up what LOVE really is. It is not this tingly feeling one gets when they see a beautiful or handsome member of the opposite sex. It is not the things we do every day that comes naturally it is what we do with a total stranger how we respond what we say and do. This is what should happen when things do not go the way we would like them to go. It is the following:

Verse 4 Love suffers long and is kind; does not envy; love does not parade itself is not puffed up;
Verse 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
Verse 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Verse 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things;
Verse 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
Verse 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
Verse 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
Verse 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Verse 12, For now, we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Now there is a list for us to live up to if we practice learning and doing this what a different world this would be. However, we have an enemy out there satan [the accuser] and he attacks us daily with the opposite of this hoping we will slip and he then will say “OK look at you look at what you just did and you claim to be a CHRISTIAN!” Your response should be “ Yes I am a Christian Blood Bought and Forgiven. So shut up and go back to your hell where you belong.” Do not fall into the trap and start doubting who you are. Do not let him convenience you that he is right. Stand on God Holy Word and accept who you really are.

This is not a game it is for real, you have only one life and you do not get a second chance to do it over like a video game, we get one shot at ETERNITY in HEAVEN, or ETERNITY in HELL so let us keep on the right track and stand together as Brothers and Sisters in Christ and work on becoming all that God desires and Jesus died for. Let us learn to hear and listen to the Holy Spirit.
