The Manifestation of the Spirit of God For the Common Good

Manifestation what does that really mean? One of the forms in which someone or something, such as a person, a divine being, or an idea, is revealed. Something or someone comes to you is a simple way for me to understand it. The Holy Spirit is it

1 Corinthians 12:7 (MEW) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to everyone for the common good.

I am going to tell you how I look at this and maybe it will help some… How I came up with this is after reading this scripture. John 14:1-4 1 (MEW)  1 “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. 4 You know where I am going, and you know the way.”

I kept reading and this showed up John 14:15-17 (MEV) 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, that He may be with you forever: 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, for it does not see Him, neither does it know Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you, and will be in you.

In these verses 6 things stuck in me and have been there from that day to now.
1  John 14:3a If I go and prepare a place for you
2  John 14:3b I will come again…
3  John 14:16a I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor,
4  John 14:16b He may be with you forever
The ones that made it all true and come together
5  John 14:17b for He lives with you
6  John 14:17b will be in you

Now this is how I see it God our Father is on the Throne the King of kings and the Lord of lords and Jesus is at his right hand interceding for us… They both are in Heaven and are not coming back until it is all over and all that has been prophesied is done. So that leave us with the Holy Spirit or Ghost with us right hereon earth to abide in us and with us.

I hope this helps us in our walk and in our prayer lives…
