Psalm 78:4 (NKJV) We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

Are we hiding the words of our Father from our children or are we teaching the children what they should know so they do not follow the paths we traveled?

Proverbs 17:3 (NKJV) The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the hearts.

It seems the world has been dumbing down the children for years. I say this from experience, and watching things going on in today’s world. My mother had an 3rd grade education and she could read and write she ran a business.

Yes some are growing through it but I am saying they do it on their own not from phony teaching. They come up with a new way to do math but 2+2 still equals 4. Just more confusing and makes the children not to want to learn. Home schooling started because of dumbing down.

I went from Middle School, or Junior High, according where one is from. With 26 D’s and 20 F’s and went on to the 10th grade. I dropped out at the start of the second semester of High School. At 35 I took a GED test and made the highest grade ever made on a GED in that city. Did I get smarter or the test got easier?

Then I went to college and graduated with a 3.70 grade point average. Again did I get smarter or the did the test change to easier? How could I go from 46 failing grades to a 3.70 almost perfect score an A-(minus) in college.

When I started this it was horrible my writing and my word usage. However with the help of the Holy Spirit and studying I advanced to what I am doing now. It took will power and doing it day in and day out. Do I still make mistakes yes but no where near what I was back then. I give the credit to my Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, which ever you like.

I kept remembering 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The one I hung on to was the Amplified version it says it this way 2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP) Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

We need to do our best for our Father tested by trial who has NO REASON to be ashamed accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth. That is what I am trying to do everyday and with the help of the Holy Spirit I will succeed. My prayer today is that we all learn and use the scripture as our guide for our lives and walk as servants to our Lord… I the wonderful name of Jesus Christ I pray this all—AMEN!

Memory Verse April 17, 2020

2 Timothy 2:11-13 (NKJV) 11 This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. 12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. 13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
