Praying, Believing, Knowing, Understanding and Trusting Our Lord
Our prayer today is going to be a thank You prayer to our Father. It is for all He has done for us and will do through us. We need to seek Him and remember what He has done for all of us.
Psalm 105:4-6 (NKJV) 4 Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore! 5 Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, 6 O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

There were Ten Brides at the gate waiting for the Groom. 5 came prepared 5 was not they did not have enough oil to keep their lamp burning. So they tried to get more from those who had brought enough and could not so they went looking for more. While they were gone He came and then closed and locked the gate…
We have to be prepared ALL the time for His coming for us. Not SOMETIMES not MAYBE but be sure we know we have enough oil for our lamps. This story is about being prepared for His COMING. We can not wait until we are at the gate to get READY.
It is like a fire truck setting at the station and the Firemen being READY. The boots are there the pants are over them they can jump up and in them and down the pole in seconds. They do not have to go looking for them or borrow some from someone they have to be PREPARED for the fire. They know not when or where they are just READY!
Are we READY if the lord came RIGHT NOW are we READY for Him to take us home. We can not hope so or think so we have to KNOW we are. The more I read and study the more I understand why things are said in the Bible. We need to be prepared 24/7.
How some might ask, well the word says STUDY to show yourself approved. It does not say find someone to do it for you it say WE need to STUDY. It also says pray WITHOUT ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV) 17 pray without ceasing, and in 18 we see in EVERTTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do we give thanks for the bad things in our lives? Do we give thanks when it does not go the way we would have liked it to go? When the enemy is coming at us full force do we give thanks? This is what I am praying about today GIVING THANKS to our Lord for the good and getting us through the bad.
Lord I do not understand it all but I know my life is through You and without You I am nothing I do believe that it is YOUR WILL, as the word says. I thank You for giving me direction and for using me for Your will. I ask You Lord to show us the hows and whys in our lives Father. Teach us to study Your word and give us insight of Your word.
Today is the beginning of our life let us start out on the right foot and be all that You desire us to be in all that we say and do. I pray for peace and understanding in all that we do and in all things we give You thanks for getting us through the BAD and the GOOD, that we grow from it and become closer to You in all that we say and do. In the Wonderful name of Jesus I do pray this all—AMEN!

Well I’m definitely ready for him to come back. And I do thank Him in all things. I’m learning not to complain about the rain and if something don’t go my way well I’ll just have to get over it I’m learning a lot lately and that makes me happy. I love my Lord Jesus, Father God and Holy Spirit. And I am try to study more. I have realized I have wasted so much time and I regret it so much because I can’t get that time back. I am always asking for forgiveness. And I try to do better everyday. I want to please my Father by the way I live and I am so thankful for the things I’m learning.
