MORNING PRAYER and DEVOTIONAL for Tuesday May 6, 2020

Time Has Come For Christians To Take A Stand…

Is It Time For This World [America] to see our Father at work? Have we sat around and been quiet long enough? The Government for the past three and a half years has tried to destroy the man God put in office.

Psalm 99:1 (NKJV) The Lord reigns; Let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; Let the earth be [shaken]moved!

Lord I pray this day and ask for forgiveness for any and all things that I might have said or did that did not honor You and ask that the slate be whipped clean. I pray today for our President and I pray for strength for him and the first lady. I pray that those, in the government that are not Christians be shown for who they are and those that are Christian start being Christians.

Proverbs 6:1-3 (NKJV) 1 My son, if you become [guaranty or collateral]surety for your friend, if you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger, 2 you are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth. 3 So do this, my son, and deliver yourself; for you have come into the hand of your friend: Go and humble yourself; plead with your friend.

I pray for the souls of the ones that are not saved and do not understand. I pray that they be witnessed to and that their minds be cleaned out and cleared of the enemy. I pray that start working with and not against our President and that “In God We Trust” comes back in play.

I feel that we have let our Father down when it comes to praying. It is time to walk what we talk. We say things that sound good but we act like the ones we are talking about. We can not be double minded we can not say one thing and do the other. If we say it and believe it then we have to walk it as well.

What we do carries a lot more weight than what we say. I have said this over and over we need to STUDY to show ourselves APPROVED. We need to know the word and stand on it and believe it. I hear things from time to time that are said as though they are in the Bible, but they are not. It is time to start questioning.

We can not be double minded we can not walk and talk as a Christian and as a unsaved. We are one or the other. Are we being honest with ourselves? Are we ready to be disliked because of our beliefs? Do we say things and do things that are not Christian just because we wish to keep our unsaved friends?

The enemy can not be both nor can a Christian we are one or the other… Lord wake us up is that what this is about? Is this lock down to get our attention even if it is from the enemy You can use it for good, and get the attention of those playing. I have no idea how many read these words Father, I know You do and I work at listening for what to day and do.

I do not wish to candy coat it I wish for those who read it to grow and those that might read it that are unsaved to desire to become saved. One day I desire to hear it said, “well done my good and faithful servant”. My desire is to do Your will in all that I say and do. I will work at being more like You and draw farther away from the things of this world and closer to You.

I pray today that as people see us and listen to and us that they see and hear You. That they desire what we have and that we plant and water and even see the harvest of souls for Your glory Father. Thank You for watching over us, thank You for Your protection, and wisdom. Thank You for Your discernment and the understanding of Your love and desires.

I now pray this Prayer and Devotional to You, believing that You hear my words and will honor them in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior I do pray this—AMEN!
