MORNING PRAYER and DEVOTIONAL for May 8, 2020

I am sure I am sounding like a broken record, but I feel it is very important that we, as Christians, show the world something that they do not have and need. That would be the peace of our Lord.

Let Us, As Christians Learn To Be All You Desire Us To Be

Psalm 101:2 (NKJV) I will behave wisely in a [blameless]perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

We are to come out from amongst them and be separate according to [2 Corinthians 6:17]. We have a job to do and each day people will pass on and we are one day closer to going home. This is that subject that some to not wish to talk about but it is going to happen.

Lord I ask for forgiveness for any and all that I may have said or did that was not of You I pray Lord that today I will be a blessing to and for You…

Proverbs 8:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift up her voice? 2 She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, where the paths meet.

I have seen and heard it before. Someone passes and those around them say why didn’t the Lord heal them that is what I prayed for. Well trust me when they go to meet Him they will be whole. No more suffering no more pain [Revelation 21:4]. Sometimes that is the only way for them to be healed…

Lord I pray for understanding and wisdom in these times as we pray for needs let us learn to trust You, for there is no other way we must trust You. I know that is words to a song but in [Isaiah 50:10] it says trust and rely on in the (NKJV) but I think you get what I am saying.

Lord we are humans living in a sinful world and it seems there are many that just do not wish to hear what we have to say and so I do understand [Ephesians 6:10-20] we do need the whole armor of God to trod through this world.

We need to learn and believe to trust You and let the Holy Spirit guide us through this mess here on this earth, while we are here. Let us understand that there are many false prophets in this world that is why we need to study Your word let us be like a sponge and grasp it and use it to glorify You to the world.

I agree with my Pastor when he says that he prays that what he is saying is from You not him. For I do also I wish the words to be from You for if they are from me they are useless and without meaning. My desire is to be Your servant and do as You tell me, listening for the Holy Spirit to tell me.

Do we really believe and trust You in all that we do? I know I want to but I blow it from time to time. I know because as soon as I do something I should not have done I feel the hurt I have caused You and it hurts me to do that. Yes I am better than I was April 24, 1982 and I hope tomorrow I am better than I was today. Thank You Father for the forgiveness You have for us…

Let us go out and be what You desire us to be today and not worry about yesterday or tomorrow, but concentrate on being all we can be for Your glory. I now pray this in the Mighty and Wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
