The Morning Prayer and Devotional is who is God and who’s are each of us. It is not for me or anyone else to decide for each it is each persons decision for themselves to make. It is not about how much we pay for our clothes, how big our home is or how much we spend on transportation. That is all about who’s we are and who we are serving.

Are We Living As A Christian Or Hoping We Are

Proverbs 11:6 (NKJV) The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, but the unfaithful will be caught by their lust.
Why do we have to try and fix it on our own? Why can’t we just trust the Lord? I think it is just our nature to try and do it ourselves, but actually knowing we can not. I can not get past where we are right now. It seems I am to write about and be what our Lord desires.
My followers are filling the pages with the garbage going on in the world. Are we going to let the Muslims take over and destroy what our forefathers fought for? All they desired was FREEDOM. Now it seems we are walking right back into the trap they ran from.
Why do the quote unquote Christians today think that being called Christian and living for the world alright. I look back over my life and there were so many signs of what was coming and it is like no one cares. We get all wrapped up in homes, cars, stuff and forget who’s we are.
We attempt to live in both worlds and our Bibles tell us we can not serve two Masters. Do I do it all right ALL THE TIME? No, I am no different I try to fix a problem myself and I am sure the Lord watches me and shakes His head. I will say I am getting better I do not think about what might happen I now see and know what is happening.
I have come to the belief that the 10 Commandments was not given to us to live by, but to show us we could not live by them. He let the Israelite’s try and they are still trying to do it but it is impossible. That is why He sent His only begotten son Jesus to suffer and die on a cross for us.
It seems that still we try to fix it ourselves. Have you ever looked inside of an old grandfather clock at all the gears and springs. How it works and thought about how many times did they fail before they got it right? I am sure it was not built once and it worked perfectly.
Man has even tried to change the Bible to fit their lives change a word here or there to make it easier and we still can not live by it. As soon as we figure out that our Lord is the ONLY WAY to Heaven and He died so we have a way out of this mess. As soon as we give up trying to fix it and let Him work though us.
We have a Bible and it is not God it is His Word it is our instructions on how to put a Born Again life together. Every part has to be used in the right place we can not leave any parts out our add any to it. We have to follow each step, by step, by step, we can not do it like we do the instructions for the toys at Christmas or that cabinet in the box or even that old car. We can try but it will not work…
I pray that we stop fighting over who has it all right and figure out none of us do. If we will stop trying to be something we are not and ask the only one that has the answer. Then listen to His instructions and follow His directions. If we throw away our PRIDE and become the SERVANT He desires us to be.
Until we understand that we are not perfect and are never going to be. When we STOP trying to tell the world what they are doing wrong and spend more time working on SELF and less time trying to fix others Until then we are not going to fix anything…
Lord I pray today that we start looking at ourselves the same way we look at others. That we see our mistakes the way we see others mistakes. That the only reason we are going to Heaven is because of what YOU did for us. That we are nothing special only a servant, then and only then will we be what You desire us to be. I now pray this all in the PRECIOUS name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
