Lord I woke up this morning thinking about my life I have lived in two Century’s, 7 Decade’s and 6 years to date. I have seen a number of changes some good and some bad. I have lived in places that are as different as night and day, around people that are dangerous and people that would do anything to help you.
I do believe that You have watched over me for a reason. I think I am doing it here not sure but I do believe You direct me on what to say and how to say it. I remember when we knew everyone that lived around us and 6 party phone lines. When you picked up the phone and an operator would say “number please”. Now I carry a phone in my pocket that I can call around the world with.
It seems like the more advanced we get the worse this world gets. I feel I am heading for a prayer that is REALLY needed. We have a government that is out of hand. I believe that is because of greed.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NKJV) He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.

How many have read about the pay for being a Federal Politician? It has nothing to do with the people it is about what they can make, now I am not saying all but you can look at the greed it is everywhere there in DC. They make way to much and I can say that because it has become a live time career and it was never meant to be a career.
Yes our President is rich and yes he worked for nothing giving his salary away. I believe he did a lot of good for “We The People” and that is why they have done and are doing everything they can to get rid of him. I have really tried to not talk about this but I believe it needs to be said.
Lord forgive me if I am wrong and shut me up. This verse sort of says what I want to say Luke 12:15 (NKJV) And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
People today seem to judge people by what they own or have I should say. I remember when there was gold in Fort Knox KY, now we have the Federal Reserve and our money is worthless actually. I was looking yesterday at a bottle of pop. $1.95 in a plastic bottle. When I was a kid it was a nickel and a glass bottle. Now we are trillions of dollars in debt to other countries.
We as Christians need to get busy and do what we are told to do and I am using the scripture I used earlier in the week but it is the truth… 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14 (NKJV) 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Lord I pray now that we, as Christians, need to get busy praying and stop them from trying to get rid of You out of this country. I do believe that is what is in the works. Lord give us direction plain and clear that every Christian knows it came from You Father. Let us stop fighting over who is right let us stand together and show the world who You are! I now pray this in the Wonderful and Powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
