Morning Prayer, how important is it to YOU? Do you look forward to it, does it get your motor running? If you actually read it at least one is praying what is said in it. Morning Prayer is the most important thing to me in the morning.

Morning Prayer Saturday June 8, 2019

I can remember when I would get up say a 30 second pray and run. I had so much to do, but was it that important that was the question that kept running through my mind. What is more important than communicating with our Father?

The last few days that statement “your walk talks louder than your talk talks” has been eating at me. And it is true so very true. On the front of our car I have a tag that reads “ My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter” Is He, is He really my boss do I listen do I ask Him or is it just a tag on the car?

Am I polite to other drivers, do I drive the speed limit? When I am on the road am I respectable to others. That is part of my walk… Am I patent with others in line at the store? And on and on and on, and yes our walk does speak a lot louder than our talk. The real us comes out in our walk.

OK hear is my problem… here it is out in the open… It is ME! I am my own worst enemy and if we are honest I am not alone here. Yesterday I was up most of the night, well not up but awake. Old things running through my mind things the old man did and said. The enemy was having a field day with my mind. However he lost. Yep I slept like a baby last night and put a stop on my brain.

How one might ask? Well I woke once last night and I started praying and speaking scripture and it was amazing how fast I went back to sleep. Our Lord is the FIXER, He is the picker upper when one is down. He is the fixer. My Father wants to take care of me and all I have to do is let Him.

Do we actually trust our Lord? Do we actually listen to and do as He directs? Do we spend time with Him in prayer and listening to Him, Do we listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him direct us in how or were we are going. How much time do we spend with Him each day? How much time do we spend reading His words? Are we really “walking the walk”?

Scriptures For Today

2 Corinthians 5:5-8 (NKJV) 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
1 John 2:6 (NKJV) He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked

Galatians 5:16-18 (NKJV) 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

My prayer today is that we walk in the love of our Lord and Savior. That we act as Christians and show the love of our Father to the world. That we be ready in season and out of season. In Jesus’ precious name our Lord and our Savior I do pray this all—AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…
