Morning Prayer For Sunday June 9, 2019

Good morning Father, here we are again thanking You for Your mercy and grace. Thanking You for Your love of us. I thank You Lord for bringing us all back here together to learn more about You and Your love for us.

Morning Prayer

We are a blessed generation to be able to worship You so freely. Many fought and died for us to have that freedom, and I am sorry that it is taken for granted. Jesus was the First and only savior to die so that we might live in Your grace. Many men and women laid down their lives for this freedom that we take for granted.

I think it was brother Billy Graham that said the problem with American Christians no one is threatening to kill them. Well Lord that Trojan Horse has arrived and it is happening around the world and more and more Christians are dying. We, here in America, have taken our right for granted and now it is starting to show up.

I wonder how many would answer “yes I am a Christian and yes I believe in our Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit or Ghost, if a man is standing in front of them with a gun ready to kill them. I hope and pray it does not come to that. I hope and pray that we Christians will wake up and stand up and defend the right to worship openly and freely.

Yesterday I said that we, as Christians, need to pray and even maybe fast and hear from You about voting for people who care about us and our country. Greed has set in with politics lying, cheating and stealing for the all mighty dollar and it all will pass in the twinkle of and eye.

I see churches full on Sunday morning and in a lot of them they have done away with Sunday evening and Wednesday evening services. So do not talk about the shed blood of Jesus out of fear of loosing people and their money… It is time for true Christians to stand up and be counted. To understand that we believe and trust in You…

The hardest thing I have to do is talk about money or needs. For I do not want to sound like I do not believe, but it is something that is needed and I know so I am trusting in You to show me how and what to do and say. Some need to understand that being a Christian is more than a name or owning a Bible.

In the past I have become very friendly with Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Do we mean that when we say it?

Now I am getting nosy and I know it however this is not a game there is no restart button once it is over it is over. When the time comes and we breathe that breath we can not change or mind or redo it. As Jesus once said “It Is Finished” and then we will stand before You and be judged. I saw a saying the other day that is so true.

If you had to stand trial for being a Christian is there enough evidence to convict you? That is one trial as a Christian that one needs to be convicted of. The thing is if one is guilty of this one will spend eternity in Heaven of found not guilty one will spend eternity in hell… Guilty or Not Guilty and the Judge will be God our Father…

Are We A Living Sacrifices To God?

Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV) 1 I beseech[urge] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [rational]reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

1 John 2:6 (NKJV) He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
1 John 3:2 (NKJV) Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

1 Peter 2:21-24 (NKJV) 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for [you]us, leaving [you]us an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [wounds]stripes you were healed.

I now submit this prayer to You Father and thank You for loving us so much that You allowed Your only begotten Son to die on a cross for us so that we might live for ever with You in Heaven. I now pray this in the precious and wonderful name of Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior—AMEN!
