Morning Prayer For Thursday June 6, 2019

Good morning Father, thank You for allowing me to be here for another morning. Thank you for watching over and keeping us safe. I am so glad to be here waiting to see what You have in store for me to say and do today. The morning prayer, I feel, is to help us start our day out right and with direction.

I can not speak for anyone except me but it is so easy to get wrapped up, on here, in all the garbage going on in our government and of coarse, Hollywood. I did not know that becoming a movie start made you an expert in how to run a country or what one should do or say…

In fact I am not sure what they think I do know if they do not know You they are headed straight to hell in the high speed lane. I do know without You they have no direction. I do know this country was founded on Godly standards and it is drifted away by people electing none Christians into office.

I do believe that You put our President in the office of President and I do believe we need to cover him with prayers. I do believe also that he is human and will make mistakes however he is trying to do it right. I do also believe that if things do not change that the wrath of God is coming.

We have all read about the Israelites and what they went through because they would not listen even to the point of being across the river from the Promise land and would not listen or trust You and died there. If that is what happened to those You choice what will happen with us, here in America?

Today’s Scripture

Hebrews 12:4-8 (NKJV) 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Psalm 103:13 (NKJV) As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
Proverbs 3:11-12 (NKJV) 11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; 12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

1 Peter 3:10-13 (NKJV) 10 For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him [restrain]refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 13 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?

We, as Christians, need to cover our Governments with prayer. We need to pray and seek His will before voting. We need to bring this country back to a Godly country of the blessing of our Father or we will see the wrath of our Father as did the Israelites and the promise land. In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior—AMEN!
