Good morning Father thank You for allowing me another day. We are about ready to start 2021 and I am glad. 2020 has been one to remember and one of the things is that some are really showing who they are. They have not changed they just got bolder… It is, and has been, time for Christians to stand up and be counted.
Romans 12:2 (NKJV) 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Have you ever been asked why do you do what you do? I mean what is this Christian stuff you are missing so much fun. Well I come up with this question what have I missed? Every time they go into this long drawn out spill about the good times…
Then that gives me the opportunity to tell them what they are missing. Yes, I have had a few try to argue that they are missing nothing and that old answer I do not believe in Heaven or hell. When you die that is it.
1 Peter 3:14-15 (NKJV) 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
Again we need to be ready with an answer that is why we are told to study to show ourselves approved. We are not of this world, we are just passing through. So that is the reason I am writing a book and my goal is to have it finished in 2021. I feel the Lord is after me to do so and I have been finding excuses not to write.
So if anyone reading this prayer today, run out of things to pray for you can pray for me and my writing. I just heard a line again that I have to agree with. A guy on the radio said “ I am going to stay up to midnight this New Year. Not to usher in 2021 but to make sure 2020 leaves”! I do have to agree 2020 has been the year in my life.
1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV) 1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
My desire is to one day hear “well done My good and faithful servant.” I desire to be all that My Father desires of me. I pray that is your desire as well for we are the ones to tell others about our Lord and Savior and it is about time to get busy doing what we are called to do. So Lord today I pray for the words to say to teach others to lead people to Your saving grace. I pray that we all become who’s we say we serve. In the Mighty name of Jesus I do pray this all—AMEN!
