Becoming A Chaplin

Working on becoming a Chaplin at Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital it is a duty that I am looking forward to. I pray that I can be a true and devoted Chaplin that I can be a light to those I am going to work with and pray with and for.

This hospital is one of the best Hospitals I have ever set foot in. Becoming a Volunteer Chaplin is a process. The training is very will put together and many are involved in the process. The information is there and the do’s and do not’s are there for us to know and understand.

Today is a very busy day for me and I have much to do. Thank God for prayer and the Holy Spirit right now. I am so thankful for the covering and protection. For right now I am not sure where today’s prayer is headed. My head feels like it is a computer and the processor is running wide open.

If you could see what is laid before me I think one could understand. Let me say I am not complaining just over whelmed. I was once told that as we get older we slow down, however, I seemed to be speeding up… Looking around I see what needs to be done and what has been done and am amazed.

Lord, I thank You for guiding me through this maze day after day. I thank You for the protection and for the guiding. I thank You for Your leading. Please let me be all that You desire me to be. I pray for strength and wisdom as I start this day. I pray that You are glorified with what I am doing.

Father, You Are The Light

You are my light to show me the path I am to take. You are the thoughts to show me what to say. You are the inspiration for what I going to be doing this day. My prayer is that I can and will be all that You desire me to be. Leaving worry out of the works and listening and doing as You would have me to do.

You have blessed me Father with the ability, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. You have laid he path before me that You desire me to take and my prayer is that I will finish this as You would have me to do and that I will be what You desire me to be.

Being What God Desires Us To Be

1 Corinthians 10:13 (MEV) No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not permit you to be tempted above what you can endure, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear

Hosea 6:6 (MEV) For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
2 Peter 3:9 (MEV) The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
1 John 3:1 (MEV) Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 (MEV) 1 Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone, 2 for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty, 3 for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
As we go forth this day, my prayer is that we go forth as the children of God. I pray that we all set and example that others., that wish to have what we have and that we can instruct and teach them about the love of our Father and that Galatians 2:20 becomes a way of life for us as we journey through this life here on earth.

Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God,[a] who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I now pray this all in the mighty, most precious and wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!

Spread the love
