Morning Prayer For Saturday February 9, 2019
Morning Prayer For Saturday February 9, 2019

Sitting, reading, listening and wondering… I read post after post about how great and how bad our President is. I listen to Preachers on what is needed in this world to make it a better place to live. I then wonder who is right and who is wrong and what difference does it make in MY life…

Having never met nor found anyone that I totally agree with 24/7. I have met some very intelligent people in my life and I do not consider myself better or worse than any of them. I am sure there are people that disagree with me as well. The reason for doing what we do is more important than anything else.

Getting up every morning and wonder what I am going to write that will help someone grow closer to the Lord. Waking up, hoping that today I will make a difference in someones life. I am not the smartest person in the world and I am not the dumbest either.

Doing what I do, because I was called to do it. Can I prove it no. unless one knows the Lord and He tells you He called me… I just know that I was spoken to and He used someone else to lead me in the right direction. OH yeah by the way she is now gone, moved on to another project I guess.

There are some things I know because I have been shown. Some things I have no idea about and some that do not bother me good or bad. I get up each morning with a blank screen. I read, comment, pray and wait. Like I am doing right now. In which direction are we going today Father.

Some days I wonder why the Lord chose me out of all the smart people why He picked me. Maybe it was because I have not been educated on what He has to say and taught this way or that. Maybe it was because… blank thoughts again hummm…

Then I hear because you are willing. OK, was that from the Lord or was that me thinking, Lord if it is You then give me something that will get the attention of the followers. Hebrews 12 (NIV) 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Wow did He get my attention! Not a day, not and hour, when I typed hummmm… The answer was showed me. That is my Father He is always only a thought away. He is always there for me so here we go.

Hebrews 12:4-6 (MEV)

4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed while striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons:
“My son, do not despise the discipline from the Lord, nor grow weary when you are rebuked by Him; 6 for whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and scourges every son whom He receives.”

Hebrews 2:10 (MEV) For it was fitting for Him, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
Hebrews 10:14 (MEV) For by one offering He has forever perfected those who are sanctified.
Hebrews 11:1 (MEV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 5:7-10 (MEV)

7 In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard because of His godly fear. 8 Though He was a Son, He learned obedience through the things that He suffered, 9 and being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him, 10 being designated by God a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

OK I am awake and I am here and I will do what I have been called to do for our Lord… Thank You Father for Your love and for Your protection and the Holy Spirit for leading and guiding me… And Jesus for Your love for us while we were yet sinners You died so that we might be saved. AMEN!

Spread the love
