Overcoming the world, are we really? It seems that Christians have been silent for way to long. We will not win the lost behind closed doors. We will not win the lost by not living a Godly life. We are only fooling ourselves if we believe these lies.

1 John 5:1-5 (MEV) 1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the one born of the Father. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, 4 for whoever is born of God overcomes the world, and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

There is a mouth full. 1 John 5:1-5 tells us that everyone who loves the and Jesus, know that we keep the commandments because we love God.

2 Peter 1:21 (MEV) For no prophecy at any time was produced by the will of man, but holy men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
1 John 1:9 (MEV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Then we must understand 2 Peter :21 That the Bible is the word of our Father coming to us through those moved by the Holy Spirit. And in 1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins. Our Father is faithful to forgive us out sins…

I pray this helps us grow and become all that our Father desires us to be, overcoming the enemy and being a real Christian…
