Paul Speaking To Timothy About What Is Happening

I believe Paul is warning Timothy of what is coming and why. Listen to what is being said and test it is what I get from this because if we read on to Chapter 6 I think we see the reason for these two verses.

1 Timothy 5:21-22 (NKJV) 21 I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the [chosen]elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. 22 Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure.

We see first Paul says that the bond servants should honor their Masters. 1 Timothy 6:1-2.

Next we see in 1 Timothy 6:3-10 Timothy being greedy, they really know nothing and cause arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions. This is some of what is going on today. It brings greed and false or misleadings to the people the Church…

Then Paul says to Timothy in 6:11-16 That he needs to keep his Faith and stay strong for he is fighting the good fight of faith. That he should keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s returns.

Next in 1 Timothy 6:17-18 he even speaks to the Rich of that time. To not be proud or boastful, nor to trust in things they are not sure of such as riches but in the living God.

The finally Paul says to 1 Timothy in 6:20-21 To avoid the false teaching that claims to be knowledge. By those who have strayed from the truth. Again I say 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) .

I pray this helps us grow in our Lord and Savior and that we learn from the word what and how to stay strong in our Lord… I now pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ—AMEN!

2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
