Persecution Read and get to know Matthew Chapter 10 however I am going to write using verses 16-17.  16 “Look, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.

Matthew 10 1-42 is good reading. For it was written many years ago it holds true today.

We are as sheep in middle of wolves. We need to know who we are and what we are about. We need to know the scripture and understand it. We are in a battle and it is not against flesh and blood. It is against powers and principalities in high places. Persecution is part of the game they play, however, what they do not plan on is our Father.

We have the Holy Spirit and we need to learn to listen to and hear that small still voice. We have all this wisdom and power at our finger tips if we only learn and use it. Our Father is waiting to give us all we need and all we have to do is ask. James 1:5. There is a war going on which side do you want to be on?

Memory Verse May 1, 2018

Matthew 10:25 (MEV) 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household?
