The prayer today started yesterday, which was an eventful day. We went to Nashville and was part of the support group for Pastor and his Family. It was good to be there for him and the family. I have come to know them closely and he is more than my Pastor he is my friend. Debbie loves them as well and I can see the closeness growing.

Prayer For Saturday December 8, 2018
Prayer For Friday December 28, 2018

I love Denise and Olivia as well they all are like family including Pastor and Denise’s parents as well. This is a loving family that is truly loved and truly loves back. No requirements, no expectations just love. The example of true Christians… What a bright light they truly are.

Debbie and I were attacked with, not sure if it was the enemy or us, but Debbie lost her phone and we can not find it spent hours looking for it and could not find it and then I lost my tablet in the hospital. However it was found in the cafeteria so I got it back. No luck with Debbie’s phone though.

Through it all God is still in charge. Our need for Jesus is a constant thing and the enemy is constantly right around the corner lurking to slip in. There were a large amount of prayers for Pastor and family and that is what is important a covering of prayers.

We all need Jesus’ love and peace and there is nothing, I repeat nothing, in this world that can replace or over come Jesus. There is not enough of anything in this world that will replace our Father, nor Jesus, nor the Holy Spirit. We need them and their love…

There is not enough money or stuff. Those who have much want more and in most cases will say or do anything to get more. There is nothing here on this earth that one can take to Heaven or hell with them. Once one has passed it is belongs to another.

I pray that we as Christians can learn to be that light that we should be. I pray that we all can and will trust and believe and let others see who we are and who we serve… If we read the story of Jesus’ life we see he was a servant to others. Yes, He is our King yes, He is the Lord in the flesh and He was a servant.

We all need to learn that we need to serve those around us and show them our Father’s love. He loved us so much He gave His only Son so that we might be set free from this sinful world we are in. However, it is our choice to say yes or no. That is the easy part the yes part is turning everything over to Him and walking the walk and talking the talk!

Galatians 5:16-18 (MEV) 16 I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. These are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Galatians 5:22-25 (MEV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, and self-control; against such there is no law. 24 Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:19-21 (MEV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are revealed, which are these: adultery, sexual immorality, impurity, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, rage, selfishness, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I previously warned you, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 John 2:6 (MEV) Whoever says he remains in Him ought to walk as He walked.

Romans 12:2 (MEV) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

How does one renew their mind If you are remodeling a home. Is that just putting a coat of paint on and buying a new couch? No, it is removing and redoing with new stuff. One can not do that without knowing what to do.

Well being a Christian is no different one has to learn to be a Christian and how do we do that? Prayer, studing the word, a good Pastor, Shepherd, or Minister. So let us be what we are called to be. In the precious and wonderful name of Jesus I do pray–AMEN!

Spread the love
