Morning Prayer For 08/12/2018

Why am I here Lord? Why do I do this? What am I learning, teaching, saying, and doing? I get up every morning and do this prayer and for two years (or close to it) I have been praying scripture. Sometimes I feel beat down, beat up and not heard.
Debbie and I live on a very tight budget and she does without a lot of things and we thank You for what we do have. I get messages every day wanting money for this or that. I am lucky if I can give to the church and we have been doing that.
Am I really doing any good or am I just typing into the wind. Am I just doing this thinking or believing I am doing good. We have 11,000 followers of “The Prayer Outreach” I have over 4,000 followers and I go through the pages of these groups and my time line and the number of people commenting seems to be fewer and fewer.
Then I post a simple video of the news and I get 168 likes and hundreds of comments. Do the people really just do not care. Is this world becoming blind to the truth. There is a God there is a enemy, the defeated one, satan. There is a Heaven and there is a hell and we all are going to end up in one of them. When this life is over there is another one for eternity.
I made a decision in 2014 that I would not beg for anything including money and I have not I do not think and if anything thing I said came out that way please forgive me… To see a multitude praying has been my reason for being here. We moved 1400 miles to be were we felt You wanted us. We have met some fantastic people here and have been blessed with a home that we are growing to love. Working on it and some other things has and is taking a lot of time. And sometimes I feel that this has taken me away from what I am to be doing.
If I am right I pray for forgiveness and ask that I be a better person with the use of my time in all that I have to do. I see messes everywhere. And I feel cornered sometimes. I know I am here for a reason and I understand that it just seems that I am spinning my tires and getting no where. I have this and that to do and at the end of the day I feel that I have done nothing to advance anything. It just looks worse. Lord I am praying for help let me see what and why and how. Let me be what You desire me to be let me do what You desire me to do… Thank You Father for Your love for Your strength and for Your peace…

Proverbs 3:1-6 (MEV) 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; 2 for length of days and long life and peace will they add to you.
3 Do not let mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, 4 so you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Psalm 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
Psalm 13:1-6 (MEV) 1 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me for good? How long will you hide Your face from me? 2 How long will I harbor cares in my soul and sorrow in my heart by day? How long will my enemy loom over me? 3 Take note and answer me, O Lord my God! Brighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, 4 lest my enemy say, “I have him,” lest my foes exult when I stumble. 5 I for my part confide in Your kindness; may my heart exult in Your salvation! 6 I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
Psalm 25:4-5 (MEV) 4 Make me to know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.
Psalm 27:11 (MEV) Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in an upright path, because of my enemies.
Psalm 37:23 (MEV) The steps of a man are made firm by the Lord; He delights in his way.
Psalm 86:11 (MEV) Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I will walk in Your truth; bind my heart to fear Your name.
Psalm 143:8 (MEV) 8 Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning; for in You I have my trust; cause me to know the way I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto You.
Jeremiah 29:11 (MEV) For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Isaiah 58:9-11 (MEV) 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am. If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, 10 and if you give yourself to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall rise in obscurity, and your darkness shall become as the noonday. 11 And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

John 16:12-15 (MEV) 12 “I have yet many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own authority. But He will speak whatever He hears, and He will tell you things that are to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will receive from Me and will declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is Mine. Therefore I said that He will take what is Mine and will declare it to you.

This prayer if for me, if this seems selfish I am sorry. If it touches someone I am blessed. I woke this morning confused and not understanding. This has helped me understand and accept I pray that all who reads this gets the blessing that I am receiving from it… In the mighty, wonderful and precious name of Jesus I do pray this all—AMEN!

Spread the love
