Deuteronomy 1:29-31 (MEV) 29 Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. 30 The Lord your God who goes before you, He shall fight for you, just as all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, 31 and in the wilderness, where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.”

The first part of Moses’s farewell sermon to Israel begins with this chapter, and is continued to the latter end of the fourth chapter. In the first five verses of this chapter we have the date of the sermon, the place where it was preached (Deuteronomy 1:1,2,5), and the time when, Deuteronomy 1:3,4. The narrative in this chapter reminds them, I. Of the promise God made them of the land of Canaan.

I believe this promise wholes true to this day. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us making a way for us that is open to all who accept. So why then are we not living it? Do we believe the Bible or do we not? I see us showing up on Sunday morning, then fewer on Sunday night and even less on Wednesday night.

Wondering what if we had to do it 24/7? For that is what being a Christian is, it is a 24/7 thing. Others see us and watch us for the enemy will tell them every time one slips and insures the unsaved that it is not real it is a joke and just go on living your life for there is no God.

It is our place to show them, to teach them and to be what we are to be… Born Again, Spirit Filled, Christians winning the lost at any cost… Serving our Lord our Saviour
