Morning Prayer For 08/16/2018

Sometimes it takes a mountain, sometimes a troubled sea, sometimes it takes a desert to get a hold of me. Some powerful words from a song. Why do we have to get neck deep and about to drown before we will turn to our Father for help? I wish I had the answer I wish I could figure it out and save so many from so much heart ache.
Why do we try and fix it for ourselves first? Why is it so hard to just give it to our Father and let Him fix it. Why does it take a mountain or a sea or a desert, to get us to our knees? I am as guilty as anyone else wading into something and trying to fix it on my own. Instead of turning it over to Daddy and letting Him take care of it. Lord forgive my unbelief, is my prayer today. And I pray that others join in and let us give it to our Father and let Him handle it, for He has the answer…
It may not be the answer we wish for, but I am sure it will be the right answer. Could it be that we know what He is going to do or at least think we do and we do not want that answer. So we want to fix it on our own terms. Then finally we turn it over and find out who has been lying to us, as usual. Our enemy got in our minds again.
Yes he wins a battle from time to time, but our Father won the war. Our Father is undefeated He never looses He is the winner the only winner. When David faced Goliath he won, When Daniel was in the lions den he won. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced the roaring hot furnace they said this, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”
We face problems day after day do we instantly turn it over to God our Father and decide right then that we will not serve the defeated one if we get our way or not? Do we, do we turn our problems over to Him instantly or do we want to hang onto them just a little longer. Are we eating with the pigs or are we the periodical son that says, I had rather be a servant in my Fathers house than live in this pig pen? That is the question of the day so let us find the answer…

John 14:1-4 (MEV) 1 “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. 4 You know where I am going, and you know the way.”

John 14:6-7 (MEV) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
Psalm 84:10 (MEV) 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
1 Chronicles 16:11 (MEV) Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.
Colossians 3:21 (MEV) Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Colossians 3:23-24 (MEV) 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.
Ephesians 5:18 (MEV) Do not be drunk with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit.
John 2:15-16 (NKJV) 15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. 16 And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”
1 Peter 5:5 (MEV) Likewise you younger ones, submit yourselves to the elders. Yes, all of you be submissive one to another and clothe yourselves with humility, because “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
1 John 5:3-4 (MEV) 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, 4 for whoever is born of God overcomes the world, and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith.
Mark 10:42-45 (MEV) 42 But Jesus called them together, and said, “You know that those who are appointed to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43 But it shall not be so among you. Whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever among you would be greatest must be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
James 4:7 (MEV)  Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Joshua 24:15 (MEV) “If it is displeasing to you to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve, if it should be the gods your fathers served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites’ land where you are now living. Yet as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
My pray today is that we all learn to submit it all to our Father and let Him work it out for us and I pray this all in the name of Jesus our Lord and our Savior–AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
