Prayer For Saturday 11/24/2018

Prayer is the fuel that keeps a Christian on the right path. It is a road map for us to guide and direct us. I believe that reading the Bible will show us how to use our map and how to become all that our Lord has called us to be.

We are to pray about and for everything. I believe that most of us do not pray as we should and are missing out on what our Father has for us. I know when I first got saved, no one taught me about prayer, I was just told that I should pray. About what I had no idea so I thought when I needed something I would pray…
Later after reading the Bible and sort of understanding I did learn that we are to pray no matter what is wrong, no matter what we had done good, bad or indifferent we were to pray. Thank Him for what He has done and will do. Even when things are going in the right direction.
Our Father is not a sugar daddy and will just give us what we ask for. He will take care of us and yes I believe sometimes He lets us walk through a mess and it is usually a mess we brought on ourselves. The biggest lie a Christian can say or think is “I Can Do This On My Own” ain’t happening.
As soon as we figure out that we can not we will find our Father will take us through and show us the right way and how to do whatever. We need to learn to pray without stopping. Through our lives we need prayer. It is like gasoline for your car. It is like the food one consumes. It is the thing that gives us strength and discernment. Wisdom and knowledge.
The next time you face a problem and you do not have any idea how it is going to be fixed. Stop and ask our Father how then be still and know He is God and that small still voice will come to you and give you direction—try it.

Philippians 4:6-7 (MEV) 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 6:18 (MEV) Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
John 15:7 (MEV) If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you.
1 John 5:14 (MEV) This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Matthew 21:21-22 (MEV) 21 Jesus answered them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed, and be thrown into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, you will receive.”

If we REMAIN in Him and He in us and when we pray if ask anything according to his WILL and it will be given to us. If we have FAITH and DO NOT DOUBT, it will be done for us…

My prayer this day is the we learn to trust in the Lord for all things believing He is a good Father and will not allow us to stub our toe and hurt ourselves. I desire that we ALL grow in the Lord each breath we take we will become all our Lord has for us to DO and to BE praying this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit–AMEN!
