Prayer For Tuesday December 18, 2018
Prayer this morning after spending the last hour and a half reading prayers and prayer request. Illness, and problems cancer, blood flow, they all are health problems and I know they are all diseases. I know that some are brought on by our diets we eat fast food we eat to much and exercise to little.
I am not saying everything is from improper eating nor am I saying all are not. I am saying there is so much out there that is harming us all. Things that are used to promote growth, things that are used to kill insects. Diseases and infections are running wild.
I believe that we need to stop and look around and wake up. I once said I figured out how to tell if it is bad for you—if it taste good it is. There are a lot, in fact way to many, problems in this world today and I know that we can not solve them all, but borrowing a line from a song, I know someone who can.
The Pastor of our church is going into the hospital December 27, 2018 for an operation to remove some caner cells that are there ( not good with all those big words) and I am believing that however our Father chooses to heal him it will be done.
A few years ago one day reading my Bible I read a scripture in Isaiah 53:5 (MEV) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed.
Reading and looking at the scriptures I found this one as well Jeremiah 30:17 (MEV) For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast, saying, “This is Zion whom no man cares for.”
Then I was reading in 2 Peter 1:3-4 (MEV) 3 His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence, 4 by which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things you might become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Then in 1 Peter 2:24 (MEV) He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. “By His wounds you were healed.”
John 19:30 (MEV) When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished.” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. I believe those 3 simple words are the most powerful words I have ever read from the Bible “IT IS FINISHED” He took care of everything there is nothing that is not covered with those 3 words…
I believe that Jesus took it all and solved the problems. Now do I believe that our Father will reach down an miraculously heal everyone yes and no. How our Father chooses to heal us is up to Him and only Him. I am going to get deep and say something that most do not wish to hear so please read and understand.
Our Father might choose to heal someone is up to Him. What I am saying is a Doctor, a Nurse. A Minister or Pastor. He might choose a Chaplain or a volunteer. Our it might just be a simple no name person that He chooses to pray, one like Mary who was not a well known mighty high or rich person. Just a person that would do as she was told.
I will finish this prayer with one powerful scripture and if we all can grasp this and be this and do it then we will have it right, I do believe Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Lord I do pray that this prayer and message is from you. I pray that it is accepted for what is it for. There is nothing no sin, no illness, no disease, no problem to big nor to little that He can not and will not handle. Yes people die daily and sometimes it is just time to go Home and be with Him and may we say and mean, His Will Be Done.
I now pray this all in the most precious name, the most powerful name known to man Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior—AMEN!
