Prayer why do we pray? Do we do it because we hope God is listening? Do we do it hoping God will help/ Do we do it because we have been told we should pray?

Prayer For Saturday December 8, 2018
Prayer For Tuesday January 29, 2019

If any of those are the reason one prays, then there needs to be some learning. Praying is the way we communicate with our creator. Praying is direct line to our Lord, Our Father. We pray out of love and desire to be what we are called to be…

We should not only pray for needs we should pray out of love for Him. We all have had mothers and dads. That is how we got here, I do understand the hurt and misconception of some for I was adopted and I was blessed. I was loved and I was taught about life. However I had to learn a lot on my own.

April 24th 1982 is a very special date to me that is the date that I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I did not say the day that I started doing it all right, just the date I found my Lord and Savior… No I do not do it all right, yes I do make mistakes and yes I blow it from time to time.

We as Christians have a responsibility as Christians to be different. Yesterday I went to the bank to make a deposit because again the Lord took care of Debbie and I’s needs. However one bill came in early and there was a overdraft charge. Me being me I lost it for a moment and the teller is the one that caught it…

I had a small amount in a account and had to end up in Walmart to get $20 to cover what was needed. I called Debbie and she looked at said there was $39 dollars in that account because someone donated to it. So I got the $20 and went back to the bank and the teller was very short with me.

Now comes the Holy Spirit as I left to go home. I needed to get a prescription lucky my copay is only $1.20 and I had taken 5 quarters out of a little bank to pay for them. I drove the few miles and all the way the Holy Spirit is talking to me about what I had done and asking me what kind of Christian was I to the young lady at the bank, for she was only doing her job.

Will I got the script and left and drove back to the Walmart, which right behind the Credit Union Back. I got a small bouquet of flowers and a small vase. I took them to the bank now there are 3 tellers working and I have to walk in and say “I am sorry for my attitude toward you earlier”.

What I got back was a big smile and a thank you, from the teller and as I walked out of the door I got a atta boy from the Holy Spirit. I pray that we all can learn from our mistakes because we might just be the only Jesus someone sees. What kind of a message did we deliver? Think before we act then we do not have to repent…

Do we always repent? I hope so sometimes it takes some effort as it did me. I had to drive about 20 miles first however I did listen and took a bad thing and made a lady smile and showed her the love of our Lord…

When is the last time you prayed and asked for nothing? When is the last time you prayed and thank our Father for all He has done for you without you even asking? When was the last time you actually prayed period? Now I am being nosy and I know it however I think it is needed.

James 5:13-16 (MEV) 13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone merry? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.

Philippians 4:13 (MEV) I can do all things because of Christ who strengthens me.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (MEV) if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
John 15:9-11 (MEV) 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also loved you. Remain in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Philippians 4:4-7 (MEV) 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let everyone come to know your gentleness. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

May the blessing and love of our Heavenly Father remain with and in you in all that you do. I pray this all in the wonderful and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
