Prayer For Friday Morning Feb 1,2019

Prayer today–Lord I am so thankful that You are in my life. I am thankful for the things that you do without us even asking or knowing. I am so proud to know You love me and care for me.

Lord we need you more than ever with all the garbage going on around us. It is like the enemy has opened the faucet of sin and it is flooding this nation. Lord I am praying—no I am begging for the Holy Spirit to wake up the Christians to get busy.

I have watched this country turn from a God fearing country to a hell hole. We have a government that is running wild. It is out of control… I am asking that Christians take hold of 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (MEV) 13 “When I shut up the heaven and there is no rain, or when I command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence on My people, 14 if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Is that what it is going to take to wake up American Christians, I read, years ago, a statement I believe it was Billy Graham that said it–”The problem with American Christians is no one is threatening to kill them”… Well it is starring us in the face now.

This country is going to hell in a hand basket. Our Father put a man in office, no he put two men in office President Donald J Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, two Christian men and we as Christians can not stop and take time to pray for them and stand behind them!

We will let the enemy drag them through the sewer and even complain about what they are trying to do it is time for a bunch of Christians to spend some knee time… It is time for American Christians to stop arguing who has it right and start praying to the ONE THAT HAS IT RIGHT.

We have so called christians praying for blessings for Planned Parenthood, the baby murderers, United Methodist Church Proposes New Position Statement Saying “We Support Abortion”. I am glad they put the WE in there for I do not believe God does if so the #6 of the 10 Commandments is lost.

Lord please use the Holy Spirit to rise up and wake up Christians and get us praying. I do not know what to do or say to get their attention… I will put this in the pray again and hope…

2 Chronicles 7:19-22 (MEV) 19 “But if the people turn aside and abandon My statutes and commandments that I have given to you, and you walk after and serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot them from My land that I have given to them; and the house that I have consecrated for My name, I will throw it from before Me and set it as a proverb and taunt among the peoples. 21 And even though this house was majestic, it will lie desolate before all who pass by it, and they will say, ‘Why did the Lord do such a thing to this land and this house?’ 22 Then they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers who brought them up from the land of Egypt, and they took hold of other gods and worshipped and served them; therefore He has brought on them all this disaster.”

Philippians 4:6-7 (MEV) 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

James 5:16 (MEV) Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.
Ephesians 6:18 (MEV) Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
John 15:7 (MEV) If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you.

1 John 5:14-15 (MEV) 14 This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 So if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have whatever we asked of Him.

ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, the most important part of that whole statement. How do we know His will? Read and study, pray and listen, I think listening is the hardest part for most Christians. We get so wrapped up in what we are doing we do not take time to STOP, SHUT UP, and LISTEN!

I pray that we become more like Jesus every day I pray that we listen and hear the Holy Spirit that will never lead us wrong. Let us try it we have nothing to loose and everything to gain… In the most precious and wonderful name of Jesus Christ I do pray–AMEN!
