Morning Prayer For 07/03/2018

A few years ago I made a decision. I spoke it in church and have been living my decision. Do I do it all right all the time? No, I slip and I make mistakes there was only one perfect human and that was Jesus. God in human form to fix it where we could get to Heaven if we do make mistakes. I took a verse from the Bible to stand own and have moved from it a time or two, however, I keep returning to it Psalm 5:8  (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
I have tried to live up to this verse day after day I have tried to say and do the things that a Godly man does and yet I fall short. The difference is I am the Shepherd of this Ministry so I am watched closely each word each statement each action. So I am going to make a statement and it will be a one-time thing. I was under a Pastor that slipped and fell. The members jumped on him like vultures on a dead animal. I stood in the church and made this statement “His relationship with God is between him and God not him, me or you and God. We as humans take a Pastor put him up on a pedestal and wait for him to fall off.
Every word that comes out of my mouth is read with a magnifying glass and if it is not according to one’s standards then this one is not in Gods well. I am a human being just like any of you as is my wife. We are no better or worse than any other person. I do what I feel I am being lead to do by the Holy Spirit and yes I do slip and yes I do fall down from time to time. I make statements that might offend some sometimes, however, I feel I am lead to say what I say when I say it.
I have said all of this to say this. I have heard this statement one too many times. The church should not talk about or be involved in the state’s business and the ones that say that stand on a statement called “The Separation of Church and State”. Where is that statement found? It is not in the Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, nor in the Bill of Rights.
Tomorrow we are celebrating our day of independence. The Declaration was written and was signed by 51 men on August 2, 1776, with five others scribing their names when they returned to Philadelphia. Independence was first proposed on July 1, 1776, and delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies voted in favor. The debate continued for two more days and Thomas Jefferson finally presented the draft on July 4, 1776, when it was officially adopted by the Continental Congress. Out of the 56 signers, 54 were Christians and 2 were not, so I think God was in that and is in the government to this day. And it is about time that Christians stand up and be heard. For this reason, I write this mornings prayer…

Romans 13:1-7 (MEV) 1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except God, and those that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 Rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil works. Do you wish to have no fear of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from him, 4 for he is the servant of God for your good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is the servant of God, an avenger to execute wrath upon him who practices evil. 5 So it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath but also for the sake of conscience.
6 For this reason, you also pay taxes, for they are God’s servants, devoting themselves to this very thing. 7 Render to all what is due them: taxes to whom taxes are due, respect to whom respect is due, fear to whom fear is due, and honor to whom honor is due.

Acts 5:29-32 (MEV) 29 Peter and the other apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging on a tree. 31 God exalted this Man to His right hand to be a Ruler and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 We are His witnesses to these words, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
1 Peter 2:13-14 (MEV) 13 Submit yourselves to every human authority for the Lord’s sake, whether it be to the king, as supreme, 14 or to governors, as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and to praise those who do right.
Titus 3:1-2 (MEV) 1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey them, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, but gentle, showing all humility toward everyone.
1 Peter 2:13-14 (MEV) 13 Submit yourselves to every human authority for the Lord’s sake, whether it be to the king, as supreme, 14 or to governors, as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and to praise those who do right.
John 19:11 (MEV) Jesus answered, “You would have no power at all over Me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who handed me over to you has the greater sin.”
1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 (MEV) 7 For God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. 8 Therefore he that despises does not despise man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.
John 18:36 (MEV) Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight, that I would not be handed over to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here.”

Romans 13:7-14 (MEV) 7 Render to all what is due them: taxes to whom taxes are due, respect to whom respect is due, fear to whom fear is due, and honor to whom honor is due.
8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not give false testimony, You shall not covet,” and if there are any other commandments, are summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love works no evil to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
11 Furthermore, knowing the time now is the moment to awake from sleep. For now, our salvation is nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us take off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave properly, as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in immorality and wickedness, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.
To not take it out of hand I stopped here and ask that you all be blessed knowing that God loves each one of you very much. And as the Shepherd of these groups so does I–God bless and AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…
