Morning Prayer For 07/04/2018

I thought it only proper that we start today with the pledge of allegiance: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Father I pray that this pledge remain and be understood by all that say it I pray that our youth are taught what it really means. As we start this July 4,2018 let us stop and think about what we have. We are able to go to church without fear and worship The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, without fear. This is what thousands have fought and died for. Many have suffered their whole life with injuries from past wars. We are a free country and I do believe if people, all Americans do not step up we will loose that right. One nation under God. Christians it is time to be heard, let us show our faith in the only living God the Creator of all.
I am proud to be an American we all have family history from another country in our history. They came here and went through the process and become Americans. Nothing was given to them only the right to be free. What has changed? We are still the United States of America, we still send Missionaries out around the world and right now I think we need to clean our own house before we go and tell others how dirty theirs are.
We are a light on the hill, we are a Christian country founded on Christian standards and it is about time that we practice what is preached. To become a Christian there are some things that have to happen. First we accept Jesus as our Savior Romans 10:8-10 (MEV) 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach: 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Next one needs to study as we ready in 2 Timothy 2:15 (MEV) Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Then comes Matthew 28:18-20 (MEV) 18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Make disciples of all nations. How do we do that well we teach them now how can we do that? Well we need to know and understand the Word(Bible). A teacher has to go to school and study and pass the test to be a teacher well we are no different we need to study and know the word and what it means to be a Christian. Then we can be that light: 1 John 1:5-9 (MEV) 5 This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Now I know some can not go out that is why we have Missionaries. We all can pray, for one can stand, kneel, lay down. So we all can pray and that is what we need to be doing if we are Christians. We may not be able to go out into the world and spread the good news we can pray for those that can and do. And I will close today with Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
We are Christians we live in a country that is One Nation Under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. What does indivisible mean? Impossible to divide or separate : not divisible, so let us stand for what was fought and died for and keep us free. Let us make disciples… In the precious name of Jesus our Lord and Savior—Amen!
