A PRAYER FOR PRAYER WARRIORS

Prayer is a very important part of the life of a Prayer Warrior. We spend hours in prayer, praying for the needs of others. We as a group have chosen to be a part of a group. We are here called and appointed by Lord and led by the Holy Spirit.

Luke 4:18 the spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.
Lord You have said to call upon You in the day of trouble and You will deliver us. ( Psalms 50:15). We call upon You now and ask that You would work Your deliverance in our lives. Deliver us from anything that binds us. Set us free from anything that keeps us away from focusing our whole hearts on You. Deliver us quickly and be a rock of refuge and a fortress of defense to save us. (Psalms 31:2). Lift us away from the hands of the enemy. (Psalms 31:15).

Bring us to a place of understanding where we can recognize the work of evil and cry out to You for help. If the deliverance we pray for isn’t immediate, keep us from discouragement and help us to be confident that You have begun a good work in us and will complete it. (Philippians 1:6). Give us the certainty that even in our most hopeless state, when we find it impossible to change anything, You, Lord, can change everything.

Psalms 18:16-19 He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of the waters.17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, they were too strong for me.18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support. 19 He also brought me out into a broad place, He delivered me because He delighted in me.

Ephesians 6:12 Help us to understand that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against Power, against the rulers of Darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”.

Ephesians 6:13-18 I pray that we will be strong in the Lord and put on the whole armor of God so that we can stand against the wiles of the devil in the evil days. Help us to gird our waists with the truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness, having shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Enable us to take up the shield of faith, with which to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I pray that we would take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with supplication in the spirit, being watchful and standing strong to the end. In Jesus’ name, we pray—Amen!

Memory Verse for April 15, 2016

Verse of the day Psalms 18: 2,3 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliver; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and my horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
