PRAYER FOR 05/29/2018

Dear Lord, here I am again humbled by the presence of You. I come to you in an attitude of grace and respect. Faced with things that are totally out of control. It seems that being a Christian in this world today is a bad thing. Even here in American, You are forgotten, it seems that talking about or being a Christian is a disease and one needs to be quarantined. Burning the American flag is a way of saying we do not like the way this country is run. We, as Christians, need to step up and take a stand. America was founded on Godly standards and it is time for us to say no more. Some companies are not flying the American Flag because it offends others. Well not flying it offends me. There is not one person walking this earth that was here before that flag… If being an American offends you then why do you want to be here?
Hell is going to be full of non-believers and not believing has not and will not save them. The fact is (LIKE IT OR NOT) Heaven and hell are real and we individually have to decide where we wish to spend eternity. If someone takes a job they do not get paid for showing up on payday to receive a check. One has to work for it. Well, it cost you nothing to get saved but it cost you everything. Becoming a Christian is not a thing where you show up on Sunday twice a year and expect to receive all the entitlements. Being a Christian is a lifestyle. “I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see” OH so true”
Lord lead us today, show us the way today, give us wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. Let us be an imitator of You when someone looks at us let them see You…

Ephesians 5:1-2 (MEV) 1 Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children. 2 Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and a sacrifice to God.

Matthew 5:43-45 (MEV) 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
Psalm 103:13 (MEV) Like a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord gives compassion to those who fear Him.
1 Thessalonians 1:6 (MEV) 6 You became followers of us and the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God,[a] who loved me and gave Himself for me.
1 Corinthians 4:16 (MEV) So I implore you, be followers of me.
2 Corinthians 3:16-17 (MEV) 16 Nevertheless when anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

1 Peter 1:21-25 (MEV) 21 For to this you were called, because Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:22 Since your souls have been purified by obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto a genuine brotherly love, love one another deeply with a pure heart, 23 for you have been born again, not from perishable seed, but imperishable, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. 24 For “All flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers and its flower falls away, 25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.” This is the word that was preached to you.
I pray these scriptures in the precious name of Jesus-AMEN!
