John 14:12 (NIV) Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.
A promise, let me set the stage if you will– starting with John 14:12 (NIV) This is the whole foundation we have to believe first and foremost. We must believe totally unconditionally, we can not have any doubt. Once we have that then when we pray and ask we will get what we ask as long as it is not a miss. Basically asking for something it is not of God.
Once we have that we see that we will do greater things that Jesus has already done. Next promise the comforter, the Holy Spirit and He will be with us to guide and direct us in the ways of our Lord. It all comes down to believing in our Lord, not hoping, or thinking believing it is a promise if only we believe…
We have the Holy Spirit who is with us all the time never goes away. Now this is what I desire for us all to understand. That is John 14:19-20 (NIV) 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Jesus saying he must go and be with the Father and then we will realize that He [Jesus] is in the Father and the Father is in Him [Jesus] and we are in Him and He is in us. If He is in the Father and the Father is in Him and we are in Jesus then where are we? We as Christians are in the Father also, back to the beginning if only we believe…
