Salvation A Total Complete Free Gift Of God

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Free [complimentary, charge-less, cost-less, for love, nothing, free of cost, gratis, gratuitous, on the house, uncompensated]
grace [unmerited favor, unjustified, unfounded, unwarranted]
saved [delivered from judgment, free partaker of Christ’s salvation]
faith [truth, acceptance, belief, confidence, conviction, loyalty]

We are saved through grace by faith. This is what we need to understand we can not earn our salvation it has been given to us free of charge. The phrase Born Again is used  to explain what happens when one accepts this gift of salvation. We did not earn it, we do not deserve it. Salvation is totally, completely without charge free.  It really out of Gods love for us, not our love for Him, His love for us.

We can not earn it and once we have it as we grow there are things we desire to do, out of our love for Him. There is a big difference between doing things because one wants to or desires to then have to.   If we have to work to keep it then it is not free, however, if we do things because we want to, because we are happy, in fact, excited about what we have received.  Then we are not working to keep it we are doing it out of love.   If anyone feels under pressure to do this or that then that pressure is not from God it is from the enemy [the slanderer] John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so LOVED the world. It is not for the world so loved GOD. One has already pleased God by accepting what Jesus did for us.

So please spend the day walking in the joy of the Lord and feeling the freedom of your salvation. God’s free gift to you…

Memory Verse for November 5, 2016

John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
