Saved By Gods GRACE By The Death Of Jesus

Saved what does that mean?  As I read this is see Paul talking to Timothy and I hear the words echoing. We are no different we are saved by Gods GRACE by the Death of Jesus. It is very clear here that it is not because of anything we have done [and I might add] nothing we can do, it is because of Gods GRACE we are saved.

2 Timothy 1: 7-11 (MEV) 7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But share in the sufferings of the gospel by the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not by our works, but by His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 but is now revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 for which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

We were not given a timid spirit we were given the spirit of power, love and SELF-DISCIPLINE, we are not to be ashamed of who we are or who we serve. Gods GRACE is the reason Jesus came to earth, born of a virgin walked and NEVER sinned and DIED on a cross so that we, I will say it again, might LIVE through our Faith based on Gods GRACE toward us.

So let us stand tall as Christians and be what we are… Daughters and Sons of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are the children of the most powerful, the riches, the greatest Father there is so let us start being what we are.
