Shall Be Saved

Another prophecy was found in a small book in the Old Testament The Book of Joel is a small powerful book in chapter 2 it says Joel 2:32 (NKJV) And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls. Then we read in the book of Romans 10:13 (NKJV) For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
When I was in school, back in the stone age, we were taught to use proper words and what words meant and how to use them. I remember the word SHALL to this day when I hear it, it gets my >attention.
Shall is used to say that something is expected to happen in the future, used to ask for someone’s opinion, used to give a command or to say that you will or will not allow something to happen and this is the part that I really remember used to express DETERMINATION. If my Mother used it if a teacher used it I was in trouble or getting close. So when I read this in Romans I took it that way.
It does not say could or would or will or can it says SHALL be saved. So if someone is not happy where they are and desires to change then the Lord will WITHOUT a DOUBT save them. Now here is the kicker what does this save mean.
To SAVE: deliver, free, recover, salvage, defend, emancipate. extricate, liberate, ransom, redeem, spring, unchained, bail out, come to rescue, get off the hook, get out of hock, give a break, pull out of fire, save one’s neck, set free, unshackled…
I do believe that if you have or will accept Jesus and his DEATH on the cross, that you are COVERED pretty good. So my hope today we start truly except what God PROCLAIMED in the book of Joel and Jesus FULFILLED on the CROSS.

The feeling we get when we confess Christ is that of a great millstone being lifted from our necks, the feeling of peace and tranquility within that sends a warm and comforting glow through the very marrow of our bones, we feel clean again, asclean as we were when we were first born, that heavy feeling of sin has been lifted, and we are both physically and mentally at peace with ourselves and with God, THAT is being saved, that and knowing that should we sin again,as we all do, we know that we have a mediator with our Heavenly Father, Yashuah the annointed one …..
