Submit Yourselves To God. Resist The devil And He Will Flee

Submit to God sounds simple then we read about all the do’s and do not’s and life seems to change into a learning and/or training field. Do this do not do that however, that is how one grows.

James 4:5-7 (MEV) 5 Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “He yearns jealously for the spirit that lives in us”? 6 But He gives more grace. For this reason it says:
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Submit oneself to God is what it is all about I think we see in Proverbs the warning and we all can learn from it and should hang onto it… Proverbs 3:21-26 (MEV) 21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes—keep sound wisdom and discretion; 22 so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. 23 Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. 25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; 26 for the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.

Submit means to let go. Let God direct one, let us walk in the ways of our Lord and Savior. Submit to his authority. Follow His instruction and live a Godly life. Then we can openly resist the enemy and he will flee as we read in James 4:7
