The Morning Prayer For Friday June, 14, 2019

The Morning Prayer is the Starter for our day. I feel without this Morning Prayer my day is a mess. I do not have any order and it is sort of hit and miss. I am also learning that I am not as young as I used to be and that I need to go slower.

Making a decision yesterday about politics and politicians that on the page IGWWT (In God We Will Trust) will not be about politics anymore it is just another page for Christians to gather and read about our Lord and Savior. I wrote and am writing an article about it and my decision that should be posted today or tomorrow.

Lord forgive me for getting so wrapped up in the politics of this nation and not turning it over to You. I do believe, as Christians we should pray over our elections and we should know who we are voting for and what they stand for and that they should be held accountable…

As for as all the garbage that is being thrown out I will not take part in that I have my opinions in the article that I am in the process of writing and they will be stated there. Then from this point forward the only politics I will talk about is in prayer for the ones in office.

Lord I as for forgiveness for those of us that has allowed the enemy to take over our nation or nations plural. I as Father that we become more aware of Your will in our voting and our selection. I do believe in spite of us You placed the person You desired in the office of President and Vice-President.

I do believe that we ALL need to be praying for Your Will to be done in America. I do believe that we, as Americans, need to seek Your will in voting and elections. I do believe we need to pray over and for the ones elected if we like them or not.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-48 (NKJV) 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your [friends]brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the [Gentiles]tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

No were in this statement does Jesus say like them. We are told, no commanded, to love our enemy. Four words “I SAY TO YOU” this is Jesus talking here and this statement ends with verse 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

We are to love EVERYONE not just this one or that one but EVERYONE. That is a hard thing to do however it is what we are to do!

Leviticus 19:17-18 (NKJV) 17 ‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. 18 You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
1 Peter 4:7-8 (NKJV) 7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NKJV) 13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done with love.

Romans 5:6-11 (NKJV) 6 For when we were still without strength, [a]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

I am ready for a fight for Christians, I feel it is time for us to stand up and step out of the “Safe Place” and walk and talk as the Christians we are suppose to be. I pray this all in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (or Ghost)–AMEN!
