The Peace of Christ

Colossians 3:15-16 (NIRV) 15 Let the peace that Christ gives rule in your hearts. As parts of one body, you were appointed to live in peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message about Christ live among you like a rich treasure.
I thought for two hours before writing this and I ask for direction. I started reading in Philippians and ended up in Colossians. I think the Holy Spirit feels that we all needed some encouragement. So that is what I am going to do today.
Let the Peace of Christ rule in our hearts. As a part of the body of Christ we should live in peace believing that Christ will take care of us completely.As a new Christian that was a hard thing for me to do. I had done it on my own for so long to let go and let someone else take care of me. However through the years I have changed and I do trust Christ however even now sometimes I do try to take over and Christ lets me. It does not take long for me to give it back to him. In fact I am getting better.
So we are to live in peace and give Christ the rule of our hearts. So we all need to practice letting go and letting God. I pray that we all can and will grow as we become closer to our Lord. I pray that we can totally let go.
However by doing this we will let others see Christ living in us like a rich treasure. We are an example of Christ in everything that we do. So we have to learn this. I have used the story many times about the fruit and the good tree and the bad tree. A good tree [a true Christian] can not bear bad fruit. So it is impossible for it to happen I do mean impossible and it is also impossible for a bad tree [unsaved person] to bear good fruit.
Here it does get confusing to an extent. An unsaved person can put on the act of being a good tree however if watched the truth will come out every time. God will not fail us he will never let go of us. We must let Him have our lives completely. So my pray today is that we grow in Christ and become all that he desires us to be…
