The Word of Truth

Hosea 4:6 (NIV) My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.
However I have chosen to use the (New International Reader’s Version) My people are destroyed because they do not know me. “You priests have refused to obey me. So I will refuse to accept you as my priests. You have not paid any attention to my law. So I will not let your children be my priests.
This is talking to Priest here and I do believe it is talking to today’s Preachers, Pastors, Reverends or what ever title they use. Am I NOT saying I am better than them no I am just saying that I have not gone to any of the theological Cemeteries that are out there. Yes I did say Cemeteries not Seminaries I do not care what denomination they are. When one will come out, graduates the denominational name is first thing one will see on the licenses or diploma. I do not wish to know what some denomination has to say I am interested in what God has to say.
Go ahead look it up denomination it is not in the Bible, it’s not there. The Church is not that building down there on the corner. WE are THE CHURCH and it is about time that we figure this out. I spent a long time saying [to myself] there is more to this than I am getting. So my instructor is The Holy Spirit and when I read I look it up in different interpretations and read other things. Thus I feel better about myself now. I feel I am learning from the creator.
There are roughly 350,000 religious congregations in the United States. This estimate relies on the RCMS 2010 religious congregations census. Of those, about 314,000 are Protestant and other Christian churches, and 24,000 are Catholic and Orthodox churches. Non-Christian religious congregations are estimated at about 12,000. There are about 34,000 different Christian groups or denominations in the world since AD 30. This is according to the World Christian Encyclopedia published in 2001. 1,200 different Christian denominations exist in the United States alone. Some groups classify Christianity into 8 meta-groups, namely Roman Catholicism (the largest), Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy and Assyrian Churches, Protestantism, Restorationism, Anglican Communicants, Pentecostal, and others.
There are roughly 350,000 churches in America and there is estimated about 34,000 different denomination in the world so I ask you does that sound UNITED and the sad thing about this is NO ONE of them have it all right. Sad to say today a lot of churches have become BUSINESSES it is not about God it is about the money and the building. How comfortable they are how entertaining they are. They will not teach everything for if they did the membership might drop off and they will not be coming to church and tithing and giving their offerings.
So I am not here to talk denomination I am not religious I am not interested in the numbers or the offering what I am interested in is having a group of God Fearing Jesus Loving Holy Spirit listing group of people. That are not listening to the enemy and are listening to the Holy Spirit. I am interested is a group of people who are not living in the past [Digging Up Bones constantly] or [wishing to play in the pig pen] I am hoping to build a group of people who had rather be a servant in our Fathers house that having all the riches here on earth.
The Bible is very clear about what I am saying in Hosea 4:6 (NIV) My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Knowledge is out there and more than ever before. I had a thought how many people would graduate school or college and never open a book. Well we have people who go to church and have for years and the only time they open the Bible is on Sunday maybe. We have the greatest book of knowledge at our finger tips and never bother to open it. Going to that building called a church will not get one in heaven, married to a Christian will not either, there is only one way. 2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP) Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
I hope this has been a help and that we can grow in Christ together, I desire to be that teacher in 2 Timothy, correctly handling The Word of Truth.
