They Are Watching

Colossians 4:5 (NIV) Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
As I read Colossians Chapter 4 I keep thinking about this verse and what Paul was saying to the Church of Colossae, conduct yourselves wisely [ based on good reasoning or information, showing good sense or judgment], to the outsiders [the people who does not know Jesus, and make the most of every opportunity. You might just be the only Jesus they will ever see.
We are given opportunities and we need to hear the Holy Spirit and do as He says. In our walk, in our talk, our actions, says a lot about us for they are watching. The guys are standing around telling their dirty or nasty jokes, we should not be letting that garbage into our brains, walk away separate yourself from it. Women when the ladies are sitting and talking and start with the negative talking about this person or that do the same excuse yourself from it or start talking positive. You may be the only Jesus they will see.
We need to learn to be the example of Jesus in all that we do. A smile can change a person’s attitude, try it. The next time you are in a store and you go to the check out and the cashier is having a bad day or is in a bad mood, just smile do not have to say a word and watch their attitude change. Now it does not work all the time just like getting saved when you talk to someone about accepting Jesus not all do it. However you tried and did not add to their attitude.

I used to right Jesus loves you on a clean napkin and give it to the waitress with her tip where ever we eat and say thank you for your good service!!~ Theres all kind’s of ways to make some one feel better when you comment something to how are you today? Or comment on there hair or jewelry, It really dose make them feel better even about their own self, not to mention makes us feel good too!! I get in a line in walmart and people are puffing and huffing and if they less than me I say go on ahead o me. I just keep patient.
