Today’s morning prayer. Good morning Father, thank You for the good nights rest. Thank You for the good nights rest and giving me another day to spread the good news.

Today's Morning Prayer For Wednesday June 5, 2019

Yesterday at the hospital was a great day. One of the things that bother me is some not wanting pray. They are trusting the enemy to get them through and that ain’t happening. I believe God says yes or no so when I leave the room I say a prayer for them.

Today’s Prayer

I am excited to see what the Lord has in-store for us today. One of the blessings I get from Him is the insight into the scriptures that I am given. Another thing is the fact that after so many years that I had a hard time reading because of my eyes. I found a eye doctor that really cares and my vision has improved so much.

Reading is not as hard as it was and I really enjoy reading the scriptures. I thank You Father for her (the optometrist) and her wisdom and understanding. I sometimes wonder where or what I would have done if she had been in my life at a young age. OH, well that was then this is now.

We all have and/or heard the story of the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. With the commandments of the king Nebuchadnezzar. However I want to look at something in this story today that I think will help us with our walk and testimony.

Today’s Subject

Daniel 3:16-18 (NIRV) 16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him. They said, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we don’t need to talk about this anymore. 17 We might be thrown into the blazing furnace. But the God we serve is able to bring us out of it alive. He will save us from your power. 18 But we want you to know this, Your Majesty. Even if we knew that our God would not save us, we still would not serve your gods. We would not worship the gold statue you set up.”

First off I see three men that knew what could happen however they BELIEVE, TRUST and I feel OBEY the Lord God almighty. They must have studied something and learned. They sure had a relationship with our Father.

In verse 17 I saw a couple things that got me going this morning. One the word might, saying to the we MIGHT be thrown in the blazing furnace. As if they were not sure if he would or not. However the next sentence got me going Our God that we serve is able to bring us out of the fire alive. He WILL SAVE US, not might, not can, not should. HE WILL SAVE US.

Next comes one of the boldest statements, to me, in the Bible. The God we serve is able to bring us out of that fiery furnace alive and He will save us from your powers… Now here it comes your Majesty EVEN if we knew our God WOULD NOT save us, we still WOULD NOT serve your gods!

Now that is faith, that is love and that is trusting and believing… What if we were faced with that what would we say. Would we stand up for our Father even if it meant death. We can’t get some to stand up in that building called church to pray or sing. We can not get people in church for maybe 5 hours a week.

How often do we pray and for how long? Do we thank Him and trust Him the way they trusted in Him? Are we ready and willing to die for Him? For that day MIGHT just come…

Today’s Scriptures

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIRV) 7 “But I will bless anyone who trusts in me. I will do good things for the person who depends on me. 8 They will be like a tree planted near water. It sends out its roots beside a stream. It is not afraid when heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It does not worry when there is no rain. It always bears fruit.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIRV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight.
Psalm 118:8-9 (NIRV) 8 It is better to go to the Lord for safety than to trust in mere human beings. 9 It is better to go to the Lord for safety than to trust in human leaders.
Romans 15:13 (NIRV) May the God who gives hope fill you with great joy. May you have perfect peace as you trust in him. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.

Psalm 91:1-2 (NIRV) 1 Whoever rests in the shadow of the Most High God will be kept safe by the Mighty One. 2 I will say about the Lord, “He is my place of safety. He is like a fort to me. He is my God. I trust in him.”

Closing

I pray that we learn to trust in our Lord in all that we do. I pray that our Lord bless, watch over each of you through this day and may the blessing be great in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior I do pray this all—AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…
