Trust And Obey In The Lord For There Is No Other Way

Trust and obey sounds simple sometimes it even feels impossible, that is when the grace of our Savior through faith steps in.  Jesus paid the ultimate price for us.  However, the enemy has a plan that really sounds simple in fact he even makes it look like fun then comes the time to pay and the payment of death and eternity of fire and brimstone… For the wages of sin is death in hell!

Romans 2:12-13 (MEV) 12 As many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and as many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law, 13 for the hearers of the law are not justified before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

When I read this verse I think of an old Christian song. “Trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to Trust and obey”. The Lord is the only answer He is the only way. We see governments trying to get rid of Him. Why, because they are not of Him and they are stuck in their rut and the only way out is through the shed blood of Jesus.

I also think of the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16 (MEV) Now one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good deed shall I do to have eternal life?” However, he did not wish to give it up. Are we ready to give it all up for Jesus? Are we really ready to say what I have is Yours do with it as You please. I had rather be happy in Jesus than have all the riches in this world. Then we will see the awesome mighty Power of God come alive in us. Let us look at Joshua 24:15 (MEV) If it is displeasing to you to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve, if it should be the gods your fathers served beyond the River[a] or the gods of the Amorites’ land where you are now living. Yet as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
