Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ

Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ, it seems to me that a large amount of quote unquote want to be however, do not wish to study, nor pray, nor even understand. They do their part each Sunday morning and dress up and go to church. I am very sorry that is not being a Christian that is being the I hope this is enough to get to Heaven.

Ephesians 4:1-5 (NIV) As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

As we read here Paul is telling the church of Ephesus to live in unity and maturity. Did you notice the number of time the word one (ones)? Do you thing Paul was sending a message? In fact the night before His arrest and crucifixion Jesus Himself prayed “I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father protect them by Your name that You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are one” [John 17:11 emphasis added]

I believe the church today is not what Jesus nor Paul wished it would be. We have relaxed and we have a lot of people who are still on the milk I have seen, with my own eyes people my age that are still on the milk of the word they have no idea about most of the Bible they go to church and sit and it goes in one ear and out the other. That is not what God wishes of us we are to grow as I child grows we should grow as Christians so let’s start growing in Christ… I do feel that these groups have and is growing in Unity and Maturity and I am so happy to see it happening– God Bless.

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
